History: Like all elves of Valenar, Ayrmidon Dannelorn was once a member of a proud warband. During the Great War, Ayrmidon served in his warband's infantry, using his artificer abilities to aid his fellows in battle. But a youth spent climbing trees and exploring caves had left Ayrmidon more suited to spying than he was to combat or artifice. He excelled at stealing into the camps of Brelish or Thranish troops, taking supplies or setting horses to stampede. When Brelish troops slaughtered his warband, Ayrmidon was left for dead, pinned beneath his own Valenar steed (he always was a better thief than horseman). Full of survivor's guilt, Ayrmidon couldn't return to his own people. They would think him a coward at best or an incompetent at worst for living when his fellows all died. And so Ayrmidon began his carrier as a thief, breaking and entering to challenge and enrich himself, all to prove his worth outside his warband. Over time he found other companions as brave and adventurous as himself. Ayrmidon has sworn to protect this new warband as best he can, hoping to become the greatest sneak thief the world will never hear of.
