Dom has a personal lieutenant named Mary Anne Chesterfield, a 25-year-old young woman of mixed English-Portugese heritage. She is highly organized, and keeps Dom's hectic schedule straight, managing both his mundane affairs and his many liaisons, which both amuses (because she dislikes the “rich cows” he beds and, occasionally, scams) and disturbs (she's a little jealous) her. She is prim, always conservatively well-dressed, the kind of person who wears slacks to the beach, but underneath her big owlish glasses and proper attire lurks the body and beauty of a “hot librarian” fantasy.
Mary Anne was an orphan raised in a strict Catholic environment, but her intelligence and drive landed her in a rich boarding school on scholarship, which is where she met Dom in the first place. During her time in boarding school, she did a little gambling on the side and investing that gave her a pretty solid monetary profile for an orphaned girl. She also met Dom, then an upperclassmen, and he was impressed that this freshman was able to talk to and relate to people on a level that impressed even him, with his considerable charm skills. He ran into her again in Monaco, where she had just left the employ of a piggish bit of Western European royalty. Dom handled that brute for her with a mix of charm and threats and she took on the job as his personal assistant.
Dom also has an acquaintance level contact named Apollo Stavropopulous, a Greek "importer/exporter" based in Southern France (although he works internationally.) He has an amazing ability to procure things, whether it be a case of champagne that "fell“ undamaged off the back of a truck, or compromising photos of the local constable relaxing with a cabana boy. He's not exactly a gangster, but he's not entirely legit either. He is greasy, hairy (probably has to shave his eyelids), fat... and effective. His other acquaintance level contact is an old college chum, a trust fund baby who was in the same fraternity and secret society who travels the globe indulging his taste for wine, women and drugs... did I say drugs? I meant song. He's basically an overgrown hippie/frat boy, but his wealth and travel adventures give him a surprising number of useful contacts and experiences.
